Wildlife Care Center
|
Wildlife Care CenterThe PHS/SPCA Wildlife Care Center treats about 4,000 sick and injured wild animals every year. Facilities include raptor and songbird aviaries, a diving pool for sea birds, a duck pond, and mammal enclosures. Additionally, various species of orphaned birds and mammals are raised until old enough to survive on their own. The care and expertise of trained staff and volunteers ensures these animals are rehabilitated and released back into the wild. If you see a wild animal in distress, please call: Peninsula: San Mateo Office - 650/340-8200
