Pick of the Litter Donation Day

Friday, May 9th
9am - 11am, PHS/SPCA parking lot

Drop off gently used items. All sales benefit the animals. We accept furniture, clothing, housewares, collectibles, books, records, tapes, CDs, hardware, art, jewelry, toys and holiday decorations. The Pick can pick up entire estates or large amounts of furniture.

Paws for Tales

Redwood City Main Library

Kids, join us for a chance to read to some very smart and book-friendly dogs!  Read to the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA’s Pet Assisted Therapy dogs, appearing every second Saturday of the month at the Redwood City Main Library.  

"It's an excellent program for kids who are self-conscious for reading out loud and also for kids who are unsure of their reading abilities, because dogs are not judgmental," said Jacky Averill, children's librarian at the Redwood City Public Library. "As adults, we don't always wag our tails enough."

14th Annual Mutt Strutt

Start planning now to join the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA for their annual Mutt Strutt dog walk-a-thon.  It’s never too early to start planning your day by the bay all while supporting the animals.  The Mutt Strutt is a great way for you and your best friend to spend a summer morning!

A Home for the Holidays Gala Ball
