Wildlife Open House - January 28 & 29, 2012
Our rare opportunity for visitors to climb in and around our newly-completed roof-top areas for rehabilitating wildlife was a huge hit -- more than 600 visitors! We moved our small number current patients into quiet, behind-the-scenes spaces for our event. This spring, the number of animals in our care (songbirds, ducks/ducklings, raptors and mammals) will exceed 200 at one time. Special thanks to MetroMint for donating water, Il Piccolo for coffee and California Pizza Kitchen for finger foods.
