PHS/SPCA is open every day except major holidays.

If you are looking to adopt a new companion or bring us a sick, injured or orphaned wild animal, please visit our new Tom and Annette Lantos Center for Compassion, located at 1450 Rollins Rd., Burlingame (x street Edwards Ct.). Hours are M-F, 11 am to 7 pm and 11 am to 6 pm on weekends.

If you are looking for a lost pet, if you find yourself needing to surrender an owned pet, if you have found a stray or if you have an appointment at our Spay/Neuter Clinic, please visit our Coyote Point Shelter location at 12 Airport Blvd., San Mateo Same hours of 11 am to 7 pm on weekdays and 11 am to 6 pm on weekends.

Members of the public can bring donated items to either facility and they can also purchase a San Mateo County license or microchip at both locations.

Our new Lantos Center is on Rollins Rd., just west of Hwy 101. From the north, take the Millbrae Ave. exit and make a left on Rollins Rd. We will be on the left side. From the south, take the Broadway Ave. exit and follow it over the freeway. Stay in the right lane, and turn right at the first signal (Rollins Rd.). We will be on the right side.

Our Coyote Point Shelter shares an exit with Coyote Point Park and Poplar Creek Golf Course, on the Bay side of Hwy 101 . Traveling from the south, take the Peninsula Avenue exit, make a left at the “T” (Airport Blvd.) and pull into the first driveway on the right. Traveling from the north on Hwy 101, take the Poplar Ave., exit, make a right on Humboldt St. Make a right on Peninsula Ave. and take Peninsula Ave. over the Hwy 101. Make a left onto Airport Blvd.
